This is probably the first picture in the channa natural history on which one can see clearly the difference of the sexes. On the left side, the male has a broader head in the gill area, it has less red color on the body, and his unpairy fins are much more shiny metalic blue. This was discovered by Matthias Schnieder, who gave us the chance to publish this pic for the first time. Thank you very much!!!!
