There is a strange synonym called Ophicephalus theophrastus by Valenciennes (the one who wrote Histoire naturelle des poissons with Cuvier. The strange thing about it is, that there is actually no textual description of this fish, but only this picture. We believe he had called it Theophrastus because of a passage of a writing on fish by the Greek philosopher which Cuvier thinks it could be a snakehead fish.
