Distribution of true Fresh-Water Fishes in the Philippines, II the Philippine Labyrinthici, Claridae, and Siluridae

Key to species said to occur on the Philippines

Ophicephalus maculatus. Kner recorded O. maculatus among the fishes obtained by the Novara Expedition at Manila, but unquestionably this species does not occur in the Philippines, least of all at Manila. If there was no error in identification, the material came from China, from whence alone this species is positively known.
