Adults

1a. Operculum with distinct black spot; body with black or dark brown longitudinal blotches, jagged irregular stripes or distinct ocelli.

b. Operculum plain-coloured, without black spot; body plain coloured or with various patterns, longitudinal stripes when present, entire, never with well demarcated spots or ocelli.
